When people arrive at a Bubble Rush event, they see colourful foam, smiling faces, music, laughter and thousands of people having fun together.
But behind every Bubble Rush event is months of planning, partnership working and logistics to create a safe, exciting and memorable experience for charities and participants alike.
So what actually goes into bringing a Bubble Rush event to life?
Every Bubble Rush begins with a charity that wants to create something special for its supporters and community.
An interested host charity works with the Bubble Rush team to explore possible event locations, with charities often suggesting venues and local areas they know will work well for their audience. We also receive requests from charities and supporters asking us to bring Bubble Rush to particular locations across the UK, so every year we work hard to build a calendar that reaches as many communities as possible.
Bubble Rush events can take place from the first Sunday in April through to the last Sunday in October, giving charities flexibility to choose a date that works best for their supporters and local events calendar.
With several 2026 dates already secured, charities looking to host their own Bubble Rush are encouraged to book early.
Creating the bubble magic!
Once the day arrives the transformation begins.
Bubble Rush is a fully accessible 5K fun run through coloured bubbles, designed to be inclusive, energetic and family-friendly. The course is completely accessible for prams and wheelchair users, helping create an event where everyone can take part together.
Behind the scenes, Bubble Rush works alongside a highly skilled and experienced logistics partner who manages:
- foam station setup
- event infrastructure
- safety planning
- accessibility requirements
- route management
- operational delivery
Every detail is carefully planned to ensure participants can simply turn up and enjoy the day.
And yes… a LOT of foam is involved!
More than just a fun day!
While Bubble Rush is packed with colour and excitement, the bigger picture is the impact it creates for charities.
Income can be generated through:
- ticket sales
- participant fundraising
- merchandise sales
- sponsorship
- event village entertainment
- food vendors
- corporate partnerships
But the benefits go far beyond fundraising alone.
Many charity partners also see:
- increased brand awareness
- new volunteers
- stronger community engagement
- future fundraising opportunities
- new long-term supporters
In fact, some charity partners have seen up to 71% new sign-ups through their Bubble Rush event.
