Bubble Rush events in Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole and Andover will be organised in partnership with Naomi House & Jacksplace.

THE UK’S FOAMIEST FUN RUN PARTNERS WITH NAOMI HOUSE & JACKSPLACE

Four foam-tastic and colourful fun runs are going to take place this summer in partnership with Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices.

Bubble Rush 5k returns to Portsmouth (16th May) and Southampton (18th July) and will visit Andover (30th May) and Poole (19th July) for the first time.

Bubble Rush is the fun run through coloured bubbles.  The event starts in a sea of foam, and around the course are four bubble stations where foam canons pump out masses of coloured bubbles.  There is no minimum or maximum age limit, and each course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly, so ‘bubblers’ of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Bubble Rush events take place around the country, raising funds for local hospices and NHS charities. The fundraising team at Naomi House & Jacksplace hope that families will get their bubble on and raise a froth-tastic sum by getting sponsored to take on the bubbles.   There is no minimum fundraising requirement but the charity is asking people to include as much fundraising as they can as part of their preparation for the event.

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices for seriously ill children and young adults living in, Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight. The charity, who need to raise £9.2 million a year to help and provide care for local families who need it most.

Marketing Manager for Bubble Rush Diana Caldwell says: “Last year’s events in Portsmouth and Southampton saw over 2000 bubblers of all ages run, walk and even dance through the bubbles.  We’re so excited to be working with Naomi House & Jacksplace again this year, and to be adding two new venues to our summer tour.  Every bubbly step that people take can raise vital funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace, to help them continue to provide respite and emergency care, end-of-life care and ongoing bereavement support.”

Events Fundraiser for Naomi House & Jacksplace Charlotte Patrick says: ‘’We are all very excited for Bubble Rush again this year! The charity benefited greatly from the Portsmouth Bubble Rush in 2019 that we couldn’t resist being beneficiaries of Andover, Southampton and Poole locations too. This will increase our profile in each area and will give more families the opportunity to take part in a fun 5k run in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace’’

Tickets for all events are on sale now, with a Super Early Bird discount running until 16th February. The tickets are priced at £15 an adult, £8 a child (aged 3-15) and £42 for a family ticket.  The entry price includes a Bubble Rush t-shirt to wear at the event and a finisher’s medal.
