If you have taken part in a Bubble Rush before you may see some changes to how we are running the event. But we are determined to keep the foamy, family fun going – safely, and within the current guidelines.
The health and safety of our participants, staff and volunteers is our number one priority.
We are following the latest national Government and events industry guidance to ensure the risk to everyone involved in Bubble Rush is minimised.
As the entire Bubble Rush event takes place outside the risk of transmission is low, but we ask everyone to be aware of, and follow, the current national and local guidance when travelling to and from the event, and whilst taking part.
We are following specific guidance published by the Dept. for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, England Athletics and the outdoor events industry.
For events in England we are following the Government’s ‘roadmap’ and Bubble Rush events will resume in early June, when we will be in Stage 3 of the roadmap out of COVID restrictions
Many outdoor events and ‘grassroots’ sporting events have already safely restarted, and from the discussions we have had with event partners and local authority SAG committees (Safety Advisory Groups) we are confident that our plans are robust.
Added to this, Bubble Rush has now been accredited by both the Safe Event Scheme and Visit England’s ‘Good to Go’ scheme; meaning that our policies and procedures have been reviewed and approved by experts from across the events and health and safety sectors.
With the help of everyone involved – our staff, our charity partners and volunteers, suppliers and of course our ‘bubblers’ we are looking forward to a busy summer taking Bubble Rush around the country.
As and when local and/or national guidance is updated we will adapt our information and practices accordingly.
We will post any updates or changes to the event details on our website and on social media. Please ‘like’ our Facebook event for your chosen Bubble Rush event so that you get the latest updates and information about the event straight to your timeline.
