COVID-19 & BUBBLE RUSH: FAQs

If the date of your chosen Bubble Rush has been moved you will receive an email from the event organiser.  The policy on event transfers, refunds etc for each event depends on who the event organiser is, so please read the information in the email carefully and then contact the organiser if you have any questions.

You can keep up to date with information about changes on the Facebook event.  Just ‘like’ the event page and you’ll get updates straight to your timeline.

All the information you need will be in the email you receive from the organiser of your chosen Bubble Rush event.

If you’re not sure who your event organiser is please contact us and we will direct you to the relevant organisation.

We want to reassure you that the health and safety of participants, staff and volunteers is always our number one priority.

We are working closely with our charity partners and venues to make sure every aspect of the event will comply with the latest guidance and have the necessary hygiene and distancing measures in place.

If you have taken part in a Bubble Rush before you will see some differences in the event in 2020.  This is so that everyone can take part safely, but still has a great Bubble Rush experience.

The new measures will include:

  • Changes to the event day check-in process and event start times.
  • Hand sanitizer stations at locations throughout the event village
  • Limiting access to the event village to race goers only
  • Introducing smaller wave numbers to ensure participants have more space in the event village, at the start and when passing through the bubble stations.
  • Pre-event collection of race packs (t-shirts and running numbers) and pre-ordering of merchandise.

Full details will be sent to you in plenty of time for you to plan for your chosen Bubble Rush event.

The current guidance from the UK Government is available here:

You can reduce your chances of being infected or spreading COVID-19 by taking some simple precautions:

  • Maintain at least 1 metre distance between yourself and other participants
  • Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough begin self isolation and if difficulty breathing, seek medical attention

Every Bubble Rush supports a local charity. That hasn’t changed because of COVID-19, in fact the impact of the current situation on charities means it’s even more important to keep supporting their vital work in our local communities.

There’s no minimum fundraising requirement, but we do ask bubblers to either make a donation or commit to some fundraising as part of their preparation for the event.

Please contact the Bubble Rush team.  Our office is currently closed, but you can send an email to info@bubblerush.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
